‘My mashup art paintings bring together icons from different mediums—film, TV, gaming, music, and art—melding them into cohesive and meaningful new images. Each painting is more than a random assortment of familiar imagery; it’s a carefully curated fusion where the elements work in harmony, creating something fresh while still making sense. By juxtaposing cultural touchstones like Harry Potter re-imagined as a member of The Beatles, or the comedic twist of Buzz Lightyear facing a Xenomorph from Alien, I aim to breathe new life into overused imagery.

I hope these pop art works invite you to reevaluate the parts that make up the whole. For example, pairing Audrey Hepburn with Princess Leia transforms two iconic figures into a single compelling vision, blending elegance with rebellion. The combinations may evoke a giggle, but they also (I hope) ask us to consider how these fragments of pop culture interact and coexist. Stemming from my personal obsession with these worlds, where franchises and genres live in perfect harmony, I strive to replicate that balance on the canvas, creating pieces that celebrate nostalgia while offering a new perspective.”
