‘My horror mashup painting that brings together two iconic characters: the Joker, as portrayed by Heath Ledger from Batman and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. In this original piece, I depict the Joker holding a knife to Belle’s face, capturing a dark and unsettling moment that explores the clash between beauty and horror…’Why So Serious?’
Using acrylic on canvas, my goal was to showcase the chaotic energy of the Joker alongside Belle’s innocence. This artwork presents a twisted narrative, highlighting the Joker’s infamous grin while he attempts to cut a smile onto Belle’s face. It’s a bold take that challenges traditional storytelling and invites you to reflect on the darker sides of these beloved characters.
