COMMISSION A PAINTING
Commission a Painting, Custom Pop Art That reflects Your Story, style and passion.
"A custom painting? Whether it’s a favourite character, a loved one, a pet or a meaningful portrait, lets work together on a one of a kind pop art painting."
Commissioning an original painting is very personal and rewarding for me. Whether it’s a family member, a loved one, a beloved pet, a pop culture icon or even your treasured childhood toy, creating custom artwork is one of my favourite parts of my work. Each commissioned painting is unique, making it a joyful, exciting, and inspiring challenge for me.
I pour my heart into every piece, ensuring it’s a perfect blend of your vision and my artistic style. Sound good? Lets get going! Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about how to commission your very own pop art painting.

HOW TO COMMISSION ART
Step 1: Share Your Idea
Send me an email with the details of the painting you have in mind. If it’s a personal commission, like a portrait of your children or a loved one, please include a few photographs for reference, the higher the resolution the better. For bands, actors, or other pop culture subjects, feel free to share your favourite images, or let me know if you’d like me to source suitable photos that would work beautifully as a painting.
Step 2: Design and Planning
Once I’ve received your reference photos, I’ll start messing with ideas for your painting. I’ll experiment with the images, sketch a few concepts, and consider which pop art style and canvas size would best bring your painting to life. There are five main pop art styles I do, along with a variety of canvas sizes. If you have a specific style or canvas size in mind, let me know in your email. You can find details about the styles and sizes below.
Step 3: Design and Payment
Once I have a design(s) ready, I’ll email you with the ideas, mock-ups, and a detailed description. I’ll also suggest any variations I think might enhance the artwork. We will then refine and finalise the design. At this point, I’ll provide the price based on the agreed-upon size, or offer options for different sizes if needed.
For payment, new customers can pay via PayPal, while returning (UK Only) customers can use a bank transfer. Once payment is received, I’ll begin working on your painting and keep you updated with progress photos as it takes shape. When the artwork is complete, I’ll send you a professionally lit final photo along with detail shots insitu. If you’re happy with everything, I’ll ship your painting to you!
STYLES
When it comes to art, the possibilities are endless, anything that looks great is fair game! A popular approach is blending my various styles to create something unique. For example, combining vibrant splashes of colour with a black and white two tone, adding pop culture references, an abstract twist on a pop art painting, or a decoupage layering technique. Below are the main ‘styles’ I am known for:
SIZES
The size of your commissioned painting is entirely customizable to suit your space and preferences. The smallest available canvas size is 18″ x 14″, but most commissions are: rectangle 40″ x 30″, 30″ x 24″, or 30″ x 20″ or square 30″ x 30″, 24″ x 24″, ideal for most homes. For those seeking larger statement pieces, I can create paintings up to 5ft x 4ft. Keep in mind that canvas size may be influenced by delivery restrictions and destination, but we’ll work together to find the best option for you. See the size diagram below as a guide to help visualize the perfect fit for your space.
F.A.Q
The most common question I receive is about pricing, and while it can vary based on the size, style, and complexity of the painting, most standard commissions typically range between £600 and £1100. This gives you a general idea, though the final price will depend on the specifics of your unique artwork.

The more lead time you can give me the better. Most paintings take about a month to paint.

Yes, I do not create artwork featuring religious deities, convicted criminals, or controversial figures such as Trump, Cameron, or Hitler in a way that celebrates or glorifies them. However, parody and satire paintings are exceptions to this.
