In my latest pop art painting, I wanted to create the ultimate tribute to the 80s cartoons that defined my generation. By mashing up He-Man and The Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ( TMNT ), and Thundercats, I’ve crafted one epic hero that embodies the 80’s nostalgia.
In my latest pop art painting, I wanted to create the ultimate tribute to the 80s cartoons that defined my generation. By mashing up He-Man and The Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Thundercats, I’ve crafted one epic hero that embodies the 80’s nostalgia.
This hero stands at the center of the painting, looking a lot like He-Man’s sword, with a bright red Lion-O mane across his eyes the TMNT mask of Donatello. This mashup is not just about combining characters; it’s about celebrating the creativity and adventure that these cartoons inspired in me.

Painted on 12oz cotton box canvas and ready to hang. Painted with a wrap around effect so there are no unsightly nails or staples,
or visible canvas.
Acrylic paintings are painted in a mixture of Golden, Liquitex and Winsor and Newton professional acrylic paints. Gouache paintings are painted in Liquitex. Spray painted paintings use
MTN 94, Montana Gold and Molotow.
All painting are finished with a non yellowing spray matt varnish.
