This artwork is deeply inspired by the many strong women I’ve seen over the past year, those who have experienced heartbreaking losses but still manage to stand tall, no matter how much they’ve been through. I wanted the tear to reflect both the pain and the courage it takes to carry on, especially when saying goodbye to something that mattered deeply. The woman’s expression, although sad, holds a sense of quiet dignity, she’s not defeated, just feeling the weight of her emotions, a experience for those who have lost loved ones yet still find the strength to continue.
