I KNOW MY VALUE

I was thrilled to be back at the Cheltenham Paint Festival, painting in the main car park, one of my favorite spots in all the Cheltenham festivals I’ve been part of. Despite the bad weather, the energy was incredible, and I made some lifelong friends along the way.

For this mural, I continued the story started with my Stand Up piece, creating a bold street art portrait of my own superhero. Armed with pop culture weaponry, she wears an R2-D2 helmet from Star Wars and wields a red NES Zapper from the classic Nintendo Entertainment System. The composition was inspired by 1950s spy novel covers, blending nostalgia with empowerment.

The mural features comic book-style text boxes with a powerful quote from Agent Carter:
“I know my value. Anyone else’s opinion doesn’t really matter.”

Spray-painted in a monochromatic palette with pops of blue on her helmet, my now signature superhero blue hair, and, of course, the iconic red NES Zapper, this piece was an absolute joy to create.
