ABOUT THE PAINTING

WHAT INSPIRED ME

This pop art portrait celebrates my fav Hayley Williams, the powerhouse lead singer of Paramore, through a simple yet beautiful painting inspired by her poignant lyrics: “What a shame, what a shame we all remain, such fragile broken things” from Part II.

Hayley Williams is not only a musical powerhouse, but also a force of inspiration in my own art over the past five years. The lyrics from Part II spoke to me deeply, guiding the creation of this painting. I wanted to capture a delicate yet powerful portrait of Hayley, portraying her quiet strength and vulnerability. Using swirling shapes and soft lines, I crafted a fragile face that captures the emotional depth of the song’s sentiment.

The painting portrays Hayley Williams looking down in silence, inviting the viewer to pause and reflect on the fragile beauty that we all hold. The painting, created in pop art style, emphasizes her complexity as both a musician and a woman, blending fragility with strength.
