Army of one

The ‘Army of One’ mural has quickly become one of my all-time favorite creations. Everything about it, the location, the context, the wall, and the presence it exudes, came together perfectly to embody the ideal superhero.

Painted during the New Paint Festival in Swindon, I was honored to be invited by Caryn Koh and Helen Salter to participate . The experience was incredible; painting in a city that is enthusiastically embracing street art was a joy. The warmth and kindness of the people, who were so appreciative of the colorful transformations happening around them, made the week unforgettable.

The ‘Army of One’ mural speaks volumes on its own. She is a warrior, a fearless figure who faces the world alone, standing strong an army of one..
