For this painting, I wanted Kate to do the talking. I aimed to create an image with as little as possible, dots, ticks, and sporadic splashes of black, everything carefully placed to form her remarkable face. Her eyes pull you in, inviting you to explore further, while the hand subtly pushes you away, creating a sense of distance and mystery. She becomes the perfect visual representation of the 90s, effortless, rebellious, and captivating.
The beauty of this portrait lies in its simplicity. With just a few brushstrokes, I’ve captured the essence of Kate Moss, letting the minimalism speak for itself. The cheeky, peek-a-boo hand serves as an intriguing element, hiding something from the viewer, as if Kate herself is playfully withholding a part of her presence, leaving the rest up to your imagination.

Acrylic paintings are painted in a mixture of Golden, Liquitex and Winsor and Newton professional acrylic paints. Gouache paintings are painted in Liquitex. Spray painted paintings use
MTN 94, Montana Gold and Molotow.
All painting are finished with a non yellowing spray matt varnish.
