'Hush' Street Art Mural Inspired by Eleven from Stranger Things
A Quick Turnaround for International Mini Metro Festival 2019
I was fortunate to be invited to create a mural for the International Mini Metro Festival 2019, hosted by Upfest. With limited time to prepare, I had just half a day to cut all my stencils and get ready. My inspiration came directly from binge-watching Stranger Things, particularly the character Eleven, whose powerful and enigmatic presence sparked the concept for my piece, Hush.
The mural features a bold street art style, with the female face depicted in a menacing yet captivating pose, breaking out of her comic book panel to connect with the viewer. Her expression and stance demand attention, while the text box reading Hush invites you to pause, listen, and reflect.
This experience reinforced the magic of creating under pressure, proving that even with little time, art can still leave a lasting impact.
