Goblin Green

£600.00

Goblin Green Paint Pot – Warhammer Pop Art Painting. Few colours are as iconic in the history of Warhammer as Goblin Green. During the golden age of 1990s Warhammer, almost every miniature stood proudly on a Goblin Green base. It became more than just a paint colour; it became a symbol of an era when Warhammer was brighter, more colourful, and filled with a sense of fun and adventure.

Created in a bold pop art style using acrylic gouache, and ink, this artwork transforms a humble paint pot into a nostalgic cultural icon. While I would have loved to paint it using the original Goblin Green paint itself, that famous colour is long discontinued, making the surviving pots even more legendary among collectors and Warhammer fans.

WHAT INSPIRED ME

Goblin Green Paint Pot – Warhammer Pop Art Painting. Few colours are as iconic in the history of Warhammer as Goblin Green. During the golden age of 1990s Warhammer, almost every miniature stood proudly on a Goblin Green base. It became more than just a paint colour; it became a symbol of an era when Warhammer was brighter, more colourful, and filled with a sense of fun and adventure.

This Goblin Green painting celebrates that legendary paint pot and everything it represents. Featuring the classic hexagonal pot, the cracked plastic lid, and the unforgettable artwork of the snarling ork / daemon or Bad Moon-style face, this piece captures a treasured part of miniature painting history. For many hobbyists, the sight of a Goblin Green paint pot instantly brings back memories of afternoons spent painting miniatures, visiting Games Workshop stores, and building armies with friends.

This Warhammer art painting is a tribute to a simpler, brighter era of the hobby—a time when every adventure began with a splash of Goblin Green.
