Some People Care To Much
Over 600 thought-provoking artworks critiquing the corporate influence over the COP21 climate talks were installed in advertising spaces throughout Paris. This bold campaign by Brandalism calls attention to the pervasive corporate stranglehold on United Nations climate negotiations, just days before the summit begins on Monday.
As part of this massive advertising takeover, I contributed two pieces entitled “Pooh” and “Olaf.” These works use familiar, beloved characters to convey a deeper message: the urgent need for civil disobedience to drive meaningful change. By juxtaposing their cute, innocent imagery with themes of love, responsibility, and care for the planet, these pieces aim to inspire collective action and challenge the status quo.
